Relational and Emotion-Focused Trauma Therapy for Adults

I work experientially, which means the focus of our time together will be on identifying emotions, bodily sensations, and reactions in the present moment. I work to create more presence and “in-touchness” through mindfulness, breath work, somatic body movements, guided meditations, active imagination, and visualization practices. Together, we will slow down and track your inner experiences in order to foster more self awareness, trust, and peace. This approach supports an expanded sense of confidence and aliveness in navigating life’s challenges, both internally and externally.

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if we’re a good fit before our first session. My fee for a 60 minute intake assessment is $190. Ongoing sessions last around 53 minutes and are $170.

I am licensed in the states of Illinois and Texas.

Rocky cliffs with white rock formations extending into the turquoise ocean, with waves crashing against the rocks and a small pebbly beach below.

Billing & Insurance

I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans, excluding BlueChoice PPO.

I am an out-of-network provider for all other insurance plans. If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a monthly receipt (called a "superbill") that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. It is your responsibility to verify your coverage for out-of-network therapy services before beginning therapy. Some questions to ask your insurance company are:

  • Do I have any out-of-network coverage?

  • What is my out-of-network coverage for mental health services?

  • What is my out-of-network deductible?

  • What service codes does my plan cover without pre-authorization? [I use CPT codes 90791 and 90837]

Insurance can be confusing to navigate, and I encourage you to reach out to your insurance company if you have questions.
